It is the responsibility of the customer (you, the hirer) to ensure that all possible steps are taken to avoid injury or damage to the inflatable equipment. Whilst we do everything we can to ensure a safe and secure set up, please ensure that the following safety instructions are also followed:
- Some of our inflatables have age limits for safety reasons, Please adhere to the age restrictions.
- No food or drinks to be consumed on the inflatable at any time. (This is to avoid choking hazards & soiled units).
- All shoes, badges, jewellery, (including large earrings, necklaces etc.) MUST be removed. It is recommended that glasses (where possible) are also removed as well.
- No face-paints, party-poppers, coloured streamers or “silly string” is permitted to be used near or on the inflatable, as they can permanently stain the equipment.
- No smoking on or near the inflatables
- Climbing, hanging, or sitting on the walls is very dangerous and must not be allowed as you will put yourself at risk from injury and potentially damage the inflatables and equipment.
- A responsible adult must be present and supervise the inflatable at all times whilst in use for the complete hire period.
- Ensure that the inflatable does not become overcrowded / limit the numbers depending on age and size of children using it to avoid injury.
- Monitor large children and small children whilst using the inflatables at the same time. Some children require strict supervision, while others can cause harm to the smaller ones.
- If the inflatable is not being used for any part of the day, please switch the fan off at the mains.
- Do not allow anyone to bounce on the step/front apron of the inflatable. The step is there to help users get on and off and is not a bouncing platform.
- Anyone with a history of back or neck problems uses the inflatable at their own risk.
- Do not allow users to be on the unit during inflation or deflation (to avoid risk of suffocation).
- In the event of extreme rain, it is strongly recommended that the inflatable be switched off. Any wetness, including bubbling can be dried with a towel.
- If wind speed increases and goes over 24mph the inflatable is to be switched off at the mains and wait for the wind to drop below 24mph before re-inflation.
- The fan or extension lead at the back may have a safety reset button. In the event that it overheats, or loses power, switch the fan off at the mains, and then switch it back on again 1 or 2 minutes later, and it should restart. If it does not, or there is a power cut, inform us IMMEDIATELY.
- Ensure that the vent on the side of the fan is kept clear at all times, this is needed to ensure correct inflation of the equipment.
- If you are unsure about anything, please contact us. We will answer any questions or concerns you may have.
- Once the inflatable has been set up and pegged down/ (sandbags indoors) it is not to be moved or tampered with by the hirer.
- We deliver anywhere within a 10 miles radius from leigh on sea for free. Any further than that may incur additional charges.
